Something about Duttifoot

Once there was a man named Duttifoot. He was a fisherman who lived in a small village in Orange Bay Jamaica. He got this name because he never wore shoes and always had a Duttifoot from walking around barefoot all the time. Duttifoot was a simple man who loved being outside and spent most of his time tending to his farm causing his feet to be caked in mud and dirt, thus his name Duttifoot.

Dutti frequently spent his evenings in the town square, where he could have a cold one and dance to ska music from his native land. One evening, a group of travelers on their way to Port Antonio happened to stop by the square where they saw a huge crowd moving to the music. As the travelers moved closer and saw Dutti dancing away, of course in bare feet. Dutti's moves were so quick and smooth that it looked like he was in a trance, but Dutti sure was just having a good time. After the music stopped the people clapped and Dutti just smiled.

After Dutti was done entertaining the people, one of the travelers asked about where they could get some good fish. Dutti tells them to follow him to his fish shack on the beach and He cooks them up with a hearty helping of jerk fish and bammy. They had never been so excited about food before. At the end of the dinner, they were ready to pay Dutti, but he turned them down. Dutti didn't just sell his fish to the locals he often gave the fish he didn’t sell to people who were poor. Dutti was very kind to travelers on this day. After taking lots of pictures with a happy DuttiFoot, the travelers thanked him and promised to return the next year. Since then, people still come to see Dutti dance and eat jerk fish by the sea.
